I am currently using the clinique 3 step and i think it is pretty good but the moisturizer is a bit iffy. so i am looking for another skin care routine to replace what i have now.

i have combination skin, with breakouts on my forehead mostly. the clinique has minimized my breakouts but not eliminated them.

i have tried aveeno products and they don’t work that well.

Also, i am 16 so is it reasonable to be using higher end skin care items?

I used to use their 3 step skincare line but when I got a facial at a spa in Vegas the lady said that Clinique uses cheap products that are bad for your skin and may cause damage over time (spots?). I switched to prescriptives which is more expensive and doesn’t seem to work as well for my face. Has anyone heard anything similar?
The spa sold Aveda skin care products. She didn’t seem to be trying to sell it to me she told me to use any other department store brand. Clinique makes my skin very smooth and clear. Now I have blackheads and breakouts are more frequent.

These are a few of the products that I have successfully used with my sensitive skin and acne. The creams in this video are Taylor brand and can be purchased at classicshaving.com. I also use a Clinique for men post shave soother that helps with shave bumps and ingrown hairs. If you use alcohol based aftershaves, like I sometimes use, like Dominica Bay Rum or Royall Brand aftershave, follow up with a glycerin based, fragrance free lotion or cream. The best brands are CeraVe and Cetaphil. Please comment.

I use a SPF25 moisturizer during the day by Clinique. I am trying to keep my routine simple and have been using that moisturizer in the evening before bed. It is expensive and I was wondering if there was a natural moisturizer I could use for oily/combo skin that won’t case breakouts. Any ideas? Would Aloe gel work? Or something else?

I have tried all different brands of cosmetics and MAC seems to be the best for me as far as colors go and bringing out life to my face, but my skin is allways dry and dehydrated. Is MAC’s new skincare any good and if so which ones are good for combo skin that is normal to dry? I don’t breakout enless I use Clinique, and Estee Lauder. So any suggestions? The makeup artist at the MAC counter swore by thier skincare, but she could of been trying to sell me stuff too!
